A special Ribbon-Cutting and Grand Re-Opening Celebration at the Reynolds Corners Branch Library, 4833 Dorr St., Toledo, was held on October 26, 2009.

1
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library revealed its year-long Reynolds Corners Branch renovation project, which utilized “green” construction methods under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) System, which provides a guideline and rating system for green buildings.

By utilizing the LEED System, developed by the United States Green Building Council, the Reynolds Corners Branch project significantly lowered the environmental impact during construction and reduced the ongoing carbon footprint of the building. The renovation project was funded from the Library's capital budget.

The newly renovated Reynolds Corners includes an enlarged meeting room, study rooms, Children’s area, new roof, a relocated entryway and an enclosed Courtyard.
