The new officers went right down to business, preparing for the up and coming Candidates Night, slated for Oct. 15, 2009, at 6:30pm, at the Gould Auditorium on the second floor of St Joe’s Community Center.
Members Mary Santiago and David Arredondo are the new Co-Chairs of the event. Candidates Night is one of CHIP’s main contributions to the community, where the public is able to see and hear the candidates answer important questions concerning Lorain’s issues.
CHIP also hosts an annual leadership conference in April.
The public is invited to attend and the event will be televised on the Channel 19 & 20.
