Stolarczyk addresses Hispanic Chamber

Toledo, June 1, 2009: President/CEO Michael Stolarczyk (Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority) was the guest-speaker at the Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s monthly networking luncheon—the Chamber meets the first Monday of each month at 11:45AM at Zia’s for speakers, lunch, and networking.

Stolarczyk has a diversified, worldly background but, by his own admission, he is still in an intake mode, having not known the Toledo area until recently. He currently lives in Columbus. “I am a great listener and learner,” Stolarczyk told Chamber members and guests.

Stolarczyk, however, is optimistic about the future of Toledo due to its unique location as an active port city, surrounded by numerous megalopolises such as Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus.

The newly appointed president/CEO assured the audience that he would be focusing on success and that he would be focusing on Toledo as a successful transit city, competing in a world market.

“I love the diversity of Toledo,” said Stolarczyk.
