Jodi DeAngelo of Brighton, assistant deputy warden at Scott Correctional Facility, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2011.
Stephen DeBoer of Hastings, current parole board member, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2012.
David Fountain of St. Johns, manager of the parole services section with the Michigan Department of Corrections, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2009.
Lisa Gettys of Ionia, manager of the Office of Probation and Parole Services with the Michigan Department of Corrections, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2009.
Artina Tinsley Hardman of Detroit, current parole board member, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2012.
Anthony King of Troy, current parole board member, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2012.
David Kleinhardt of Laingsburg, manager in the Office of the Parole Board with the Michigan Department of Corrections, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2011.
Barbara Sampson of Detroit, current parole board member and chairperson, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2010. Ms. Sampson is also designated to serve as chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board for a term expiring at the pleasure of the governor.
John Sullivan of Northville, owner and attorney in private practice, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2009.
Laurin’ Thomas of Dimondale, current parole board member, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2010.
Sonia Amos Warchock of Jackson, parole violation specialist with the Michigan Department of Corrections, is appointed for a term expiring November 30, 2009.
The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, recently reorganized by Executive Order 2009-5, is charged with conducting and administering effective implementation of the corrections policy and reviewing and considering parole and commutation requests.
These appointments are not subject to disapproval by the Michigan Senate.
