WGTE celebrates 20 years of Jazz Spectrum 91 with Fritz Byers

Join WGTE Public Media on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Murphy's Place in downtown Toledo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Jazz Spectrum 91 with host Fritz Byers. For 20 years, Fritz has brought to the region great jazz music and perspective on this incredible art form, including articles in La Prensa. 

To celebrate, acclaimed jazz saxophonist Sonny Fortune will perform two shows with the UT Jazz Ensemble as the opening act. A cash bar and full menu are available. Reserved tickets are $25, open seating is $10 per person, and students are $5. For ticket information, call 419-380-4604. Jazz Spectrum 91 airs on Public Radio FM 91 on Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.
