Toledo Language Institute announces Spanish-language classes
The Toledo Language Institute (TLI), under the direction of Violeta Padrón, PhD, is now enrolling for Spanish classes for Spring 2009. The Toledo Language Institute offers Spanish language instruction for children and adults, customized language courses for professionals, businesses and home schoolers.
“At TLI, says, Violeta Padrón, we use an interactive and fun approach to learn Spanish. Our focus is on verbal communication. We employ visuals, music and more. Our children classes also include games, play, stories and crafts as a unique way of introducing the child to the Spanish language.” TLI also offers on site customized language courses for businesses and organizations.
Violeta Padrón is originally from Spain. She has an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Seville, in Seville, Spain and a PhD in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the former director of the Wake Forest University semester in Spain program and has over 15 years of experience as an educator and translator.
Violeta has taught at major universities both in the United States and Spain and at local schools and organizations.
All levels of Spanish are welcome. Classes are held in the Library at the Common Space Center for Creativity, 1700 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio.
