Michigan parks reservation system getting upgrade

LANSING, Feb. 21, 2009 (AP): Michigan's system for making reservations at state parks, recreation areas and harbors is getting an upgrade.

The Grand Rapids Press reports the reservation system will be shut down March 7-14 to get new features.

An upgraded Web site will allow users to reserve up to five camping periods per online session for most places instead of just one. And the system's capacity is being expanded to handle more customers.
