Planetarium programming pays tribute to Black History Month
Throughout February, The University of Toledo’s Ritter Planetarium will host educational programs in honor of Black History Month. The programs are: Skywatchers of Africa: Fridays, through Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. The people of Africa use their knowledge of the sky for navigation and to meet their physical needs for survival. This program looks at several cultures from across the African continent and shows how these examples illustrate the experiences of people around the world.
