Project Bundle Up assists mission, shelter

On 12/23/08, Buckeye CableSystem provided two local charities with warm gloves, hats, scarves and socks.  As part of its winter campaign, Project Bundle Up, Buckeye CableSystem delivered hundreds of warm items to the Cherry Street Mission and the Battered Women’s shelter.

“As a local company, Buckeye CableSystem is deeply committed to our community.  While our focus is always on quality service and providing the best value we can for our customers, at this time we wanted to help those who may be in need this holiday season,” said Florence Buchanan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Buckeye CableSystem.

The delivery of gloves, hats, scarves and socks follows Buckeye CableSystem’s recent marketing campaign that committed these charitable contributions when customers upgraded their services to a VIP Bundle.  As customers “bundled up” to become a Buckeye Video, Internet and Phone customer, Buckeye CableSystem purchased the winter items on their behalf.

“We are very appreciative to Buckeye CableSystem and their customers for this generous donation. We are serving more men, women, and children then ever before, and we can only do this through the generous support of our community,” said Cherry Street’s Vice President of Development, Rodney Schuster.
