Toledo Lighthouse, Lake Erie featured in Lourdes College lecture

 

On Tuesday, January 13, 2009, Lourdes College hosts a S.A.V.E. (Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment) lecture titled “Maumee Western Lake Erie Water is Very Special.” Hosted by Sandy Bihn, President of the Western Lake Erie Association and Toledo Lighthouse Society, the lecture will be held in the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

 

This S.A.V.E. lecture discusses the Maumee Bay and Western Lake Erie and the Toledo Lighthouse that serves as a connecting point between these two bodies of water. During the lecture, audience members will learn about the aquatic life contained in these waters, fun facts and challenges surrounding the Great Lakes as well as a history of the Toledo Lighthouse.
