Despite the snow and wind, Ballet Folklorico Imagenes Mexicanas had a successful Winter Festival Recital on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at their base, the Perrysburg Heights Community Center—Over 150 attended to watch some 30 dancers, dancing the cultural steps with music from México’s Veracruz, Nuevo León, Michoacan, Chiapas, Tamaulipas, Guerrero, Sinaloa, Jalisco, and the Yucatan. Yvonne Ramos and company also performed.

With the help of its artistic directors Raquel Rodríguez, James Serda, and Aaronica Bivins, this 12-year old dance troupe is managed by Anita Serda and President Trina Myers.
