Battle Across the Border

Fall is in the air and football is well on its way. The American Red Cross is asking football fans to “Bleed their true colors” in the Battle Across the Border Campaign. This campaign is for The Ohio State University (OSU) or The University of Michigan (UM) fans to show support to their favorite team by donating the most blood. All donors that present to donate will receive a special t-shirt on Game Day, November 22nd at the Donor Center in Toledo and Findlay, and at the blood drives listed below.

In honor of this competition we will be holding the following Blood Drives around this area:

 

Saturday, November 15th- Fremont Rec. Center from 7:30am-12:30pm                                      

Saturday, November 22-   First Baptist Church in Perrysburg from 9-2pm

                                    Browning Masonic Retirement Community in Waterville from 9-2pm
 

To donate blood you must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and provide a valid photo ID upon donation.
