Poll: Levin leads in US Senate race DETROIT, Oct. 23, 2008 (AP): A new poll shows Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Carl Levin with a 28-point lead over Republican rival state Rep. Jack Hoogendyk of Kalamazoo.
The EPIC-MRA poll released Thursday and conducted for The Detroit News and TV stations WXYZ, WILX, WOOD and WJRT showed Levin with 58 percent, Hoogendyk with 30 percent, other with 1 percent and 11 percent undecided.
