Rockin’ The CASA, Nov. 15

Ann Arbor: Friends of CASA will host their annual fall fundraiser, Rockin’ The CASA, on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds. This year’s theme, “A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock ‘N Roll” promises boot-stomping fun and finger-lickin’ good BBQ.

“We really wanted Washtenaw County to come together and enjoy a “smooth country” feel as our DJ plays music from Sheryl Crow to Kid Rock, all while raising money for this great cause,” noted Nicole Huang, Executive Director of Friends of CASA.

“It’s a comfortable, ‘blue jean gala’ so whether you want to learn some dance steps or just sit back, we think the venue will be perfect! And, we have some great food, drinks and opportunities to bid on some fabulous silent auction items – it’s going to be an exciting evening”!

Rockin’ The CASA runs from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $35 per person and are available by calling 734-222-6908 or may be purchased online at www.casawashtenaw.org.

CASA of Washtenaw County is a private/public partnership between Friends of CASA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and the Washtenaw County Trial Court – Juvenile Division. The partnership provides volunteer recruitment, training and supervision, and community outreach on behalf of children removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect.
