Democracy at The City Club: The 2008 Fall Debate Series

The City Club of Cleveland will host nine debates for federal, statewide, and local offices. All debates begin at noon at The City Club of Cleveland:

Friday, Oct. 17, 2008: 10th Congressional District race—Paul Conroy, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, James P. Trakas.

Monday, Oct. 20, 2008: Cuyahoga County Prosecuting Attorney—Annette G. Butler. (William Mason has not responded.)

Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008: 11th Congressional District—Mayor Marsha L. Fudge vs. Thomas Pekarek. Sponsored by Sisters of Charity Health System            
                                                  
Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008: Ohio Attorney General—Richard Cordray vs. Michael Crites.
Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008: Ohio Supreme Court—Justice Maureen O’Connor vs. Judge Joseph D. Russo.

Monday, Oct. 27, 2008: Ohio Supreme Court—Judge Peter M. Sikora vs. Justice Evelyn L. Stratton.         
                                          
Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008: 13th Congressional District—David S. Potter vs. U.S. Congresswoman Betty Sutton. Sponsored by Sisters of Charity Health System  

Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008: Cuyahoga County Commissioner—Peter Lawson Jones vs. Mayor Deborah L. Sutherland.

Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008: 14th Congressional District—Congressman Steven C. LaTourette, David Macko, Judge William O’Neill. Sponsored by Sisters of Charity Health System.

Tickets for all debates are $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers, except the 10th Congressional District debate which are $18 for members and $30 for nonmembers. They can be purchased by calling The City Club at 216.621.0082 or visiting the Website at:   www.cityclub.org
