Cleveland Indians celebrate HHM, Sept. 19
The Cleveland Indians will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Progressive Field prior to the 7:05PM game versus the Detroit Tigers on Friday, September 19 with “¡Unidos Venceremos!”─Together We Win!
The in-park celebration is in collaboration with the City of Cleveland, Spanish American Committee, and Roberto Clemente Baseball League with support from La Prensa and El Sol de Cleveland.
The “Unidos Venceremos!” festivities at the Market Pavilion of Progressive Field will include live music from DJ Danny Vey, salsa lessons from dance instructors from Viva Dance Studios, performances from Grupo Isla del Encanto Dance Team and specialty food and drink items.

The September 19 pre-game activities will feature an on-field parade and presentation with Joe Santiago, City of Cleveland Ward 14 Councilman, and ceremonial first pitch thrown by City of Cleveland, Hispanic Liaison, Lucy Torres.
A portion of ticket sales for “¡Unidos Venceremos!” will benefit the Spanish American Committee (SAC).
Established in 1966, the Spanish American Committee offers social services, employment, housing, ESL, bilingual daycare, immigration services, translation/ interpreting, notarizations, credit counseling, education and employment discrimination counseling to the Cleveland area Latino Community. Last year alone, the Committee assisted over 10,000 individuals and families.
