Detroit and Columbus voters get to offer Dem convention questions

DETROIT, August 13, 2008 (AP): Michigan and Ohio voters have a chance to videotape a question that will be shown at the Democratic National Convention. The Convention is Aug. 25-28, 2008, in Denver.

Detroit and Columbus are two of eight cities where voters will have the chance to record their questions. Selected questions will be answered live from the convention floor or online by elected officials and national experts.

Voters, for example, can record their questions and individual stories from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at 3011 West Grand Boulevard in Detroit. Text and video questions also can be submitted online at the convention's Web site.

Questions also will be recorded in: Atlanta; Denver; Philadelphia; Raleigh, N.C.; Richmond, Va.; and Tampa, Fla.
