Keith G. Earley, Lucas County Engineer, announced that the 2008-2009 Highway map is ready for distribution. It includes all cities, villages and townships in Lucas County.

The 2008-2009 County Map will be available and is being distributed in Atlas format as well as the traditional Folding format to accommodate all of its users. The new County Map is thoroughly updated with new annexations, incorporations, and new subdivisions with new roads, including private streets. Landmarks – including cemeteries, schools, industrial and retail shopping centers such as malls are also illustrated on the new map.

The new 2008-2009 maps are based on information completed by the County Engineer’s office and are current as of May 1, 2008. County maps are free to Lucas County residents, but are limited to one per person. Additional Maps are $2.00 each.

Maps may be obtained at the Engineers Office, Suite 870, One Government Center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday or at the County Road Maintenance Garage, 2504 South Detroit Avenue, Maumee, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

Maps can also be received via mail by sending $3.50 per map for postage and handling to the Engineers Office at One Government Center, Suite 870 Toledo, Ohio 43604-2258.
