The center is moving from its former location at 525 Hamilton Avenue. The main facility at 6605 West Central Avenue will not change and all services will remain the same at both sites.
“The transformation has been exciting to see and we are very pleased with our new building. We are looking forward to continuing to serve the community in this warm and friendly environment,” said Jennifer Moses, Zepf Center's Chief Executive Officer.
Formed in 1974, the agency is named after Elizabeth A. Zepf, a tireless advocate of mental health services. Mrs. Zepf died Friday, June 6, 2008, a month before her 105th birthday. She was president and a trustee of the Toledo Mental Hygiene Clinic and was named an honorary member for life of the Lucas County Mental Health Board. Ms. Zepf served as a trustee for 13 years for the University of Toledo and consequently received an honorary doctorate. She was known for her kindness, her impeccable manners, and her fashionable sense.
