Toledo, Ohio… In an effort to promote more pedestrian traffic in the central business district and frankly just to have a good time, the Downtown Toledo Improvement District Inc. (DTID) is again sponsoring a free downtown luncheon concert series in Levis Square. “Lunch at Levis Square” will occur every Thursday, May 29th through August 28th from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
“Brown-bag it” or purchase your lunch from our food and beverage vendors, you’ll have a great time meeting your friends in Levis Square. Levis Square is located at the intersection of Madison Avenue and North St. Clair Street in downtown Toledo.
“One of the overall objectives of our organization is to rekindle a sense of place in our downtown,” said Tom Crothers, DTID Executive Director. “With the arrival of warmer weather, we again look forward to seeing lots of folks tapping their toes to the tunes while they enjoy a satisfying lunch.”
“This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some great performers that most people haven’t had the chance to see,” said Beth Frisinger, DTID Administrative Assistant. “This program will encourage downtown workers and visitors alike to take a refreshing mid-day break near the end of a busy work week.”
