Office of Latino Initiatives hosts Latino Student Recognitions reception

On April 17, 2008, the University of Toledo’s Office of Latino Initiatives hosted its 8^th Latino Student Recognitions reception at the Student Union.

According to Sabina Elizondo-Serratos, the director of the Office of Latino Initiatives, Latino students with a GPA of 3.0 or greater were recognized, including: 

José López -Community Service and Servant Leadership Award, senior - Pharmaceutical Science;

Derek Mull - Student Leader Award, sophomore - Biology with a Concentration in Pre-Med Chemistry (GPA 3.475);

Marco Rosas - Student Leader Award, sophomore - Film and Video (GPA 3.75); and

Lissette Ramos - Student Leader Award, senior - Health Care Administration (GPA 3.833)
