Editor’s Note: La Prensa laments that none of the excellent Midwest Tejano Bands, including the accomplished Grupo Aldaco of Lansing, Michigan, were among the finalists in this year’s awards. True, Grupo Aldaco and DeZeo of Toledo, Ohio are scheduled to perform in San Antonio, but Midwest Tejano Bands were left out in the cold. ˇHay que frio!
