UT Education Alumni groups offer local teachers tips on Multiculturalism

The Education Alumni College will be Saturday, March 15, 2008, at The University of Toledo’s Scott Park Campus. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. with three one-hour sessions and a general session lasting until 12:30 p.m.  
 
A half-day professional conference-style event for UT education alumni and other local educators, attendees of all three one-hour sessions will earn three contact hours. A box lunch will be served.
 
The registration fee is $15, or $10 for current UT students. Registrations can be placed with the UT Alumni Office by calling
419.530.2586 or 800.235.6766.
 
Sponsored by The Judith Herb College of Education and its affiliate, McDougal Littell, and Edventures in Learning, the sessions will address “hot topics” in education ranging from reading, bullying, multicultural techniques, assessment, and technology in education.
