Jan. 1, 2008: The Genoa Music Boosters are conducting a recycling fundraiser that will also be used for the uniform project. The fundraiser runs through January.
 

Used items may be tax deductible and will be recycled in accordance with Environmental Protection Agency regulations or refurbished and sold.

Drop-off boxes are located in each of the Genoa, Ohio school buildings and in the office area at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Washington St., Genoa.

In the past year, the band and boosters have raised $20,300 toward the $50,000 goal to replace the uniforms, according to the Genoa Boosters section on the Genoa Schools Web site, http://www.genoa.k12.oh.us/
