Library News: 2008 Wolcott House Museum Guild Historical Lecture Series

Wolcott House Museum Guild in conjunction with the Maumee Branch Library - Toledo-Lucas County Public Library presents the 2008 Historical Lecture Series scheduled on Mondays at 10 a.m. from February 4 through March 31, 2008. The Lecture Series will be held in the Maumee Branch Library Auditorium, 501 River Rd., Maumee, Ohio.

 

Lecture Schedule:

• February 4 – Clint Mauk, The Three Most Important Battles in the Northwest Territory

• February 11 – Tim Kreps, A French Fur Trading Voyager

• February 18 – Fred Folger, Out and About Around Toledo

• February 25 - Ken Dickson, Memories of Camp Miakonda

• March 3 – Ralph Borror, President Lincoln, Part II

• March 10 – Larry Michaels, Peter Navarre, local hero

• March 17 – Kenneth Hammontree, Simon Girty

• March 24 – John R. Dix as “Red Bear,” A Trader’s Life in the Black Swamp

• March 31 – Steve Alexander, General G.A. Custer
