• Art in the Eye Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in Marshall, Michigan from June 15, 2008 to May 30, 2009. This city wide exhibit exposes the artwork to the residents and the tens of thousands of annual visitors to historic Marshall.

• Canton Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in Canton, Michigan from August 15, 2008 and July 31, 2009. Canton is an upscale rapidly developing western suburb of Detroit that is focusing on involving the arts into the everyday life of its citizens.
This year long exhibition is sponsored by the Canton Downtown Development Authority with assistance from the Canton Public Art Committee. The exhibition will be comprised of nine or ten sculptures along a three mile stretch of Ford Road between Canton Center and Lotz.
Currently, this site is traveled by 42,000 vehicles a day. Sculptures to be entered in two categories: Large scale and pedestal/garden size. The 2008-2009 Canton Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition will consist of nine or ten pieces and will focus on colorful, less abstract work. This is the third year in a row that MSI has assembled an outdoor sculpture exhibition in Canton.
• Tecumseh Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in Tecumseh, Michigan from May 1st, 2008 through April 15th, 2009. Tecumseh is a vibrant community, located 25 miles southwest of Ann Arbor, Michigan and 45 miles northwest of Toledo, Ohio.
Tecumseh is located in Lenawee County, home to just over 8,700 residents. Noted as one of the first three original European settlements in Michigan, Tecumseh is proud of its past. This is clearly evident in the historic downtown district. An interesting mix of specialty shops and dining options fill the walls of buildings that have stood watch over Chicago Boulevard for over 150 years.
Historic downtown Tecumseh provides an ideal setting for a public art program. Sculptures can be entered in four different categories: Large scale, pedestal/garden size, wall relief and floating (there is a pond at the Community Center that would be ideal)! The exhibition would consist of 8 larger sculptures and 6 pedestal size sculptures with the possibility of 1 or more floating sculptures. This exhibit is a new addition to MSI’s exhibition season.
