Comcast named “Corporation of the Year” by NSHMBA
Southfield: The Detroit Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) has named Comcast its “Corporation of the Year” for 2007. Comcast received the honor for its dedication to fulfilling the mission of the NSHMBA, which strives to “foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development in order to improve society.”
“The National Society of Hispanic MBAs has made an incredible positive impact on Detroit’s Hispanic community and on the region a whole,” said Dave Buhl, Michigan Region Senior Vice President for Comcast. “We are honored to be named the Detroit Chapter’s ‘Corporation of the Year’ and look forward to continued success in our initiatives to support of the Hispanic community of southeast Michigan.”
Comcast will officially receive the honor at the NSHMBA Gala Nov. 16, 2007 at the Troy Hilton.
