Students at St. Francis de Sales High School, including LASSO members, are selling the “Knight Card,” which offers discounts for several local businesses, including 10% off any food item at Ferdo’s Restaurant (on Bancroft near UT), 20% off green fees at Whiteford Valley Golf Club, 15% off any purchase at the Westgate Taco Bell, $5 off any size Honeybaked Ham, $1 off admission to Centennial Quarry, and $5 off the “Works Wash” at Russ Auto Wash.

Campaign head and Alumni Director Jim Gill explains, “The card will pay for itself the first few times you use it. The Marco’s Pizza discount (buy one Large pizza with one or more toppings and get a Medium with one topping for free) will pay for the card with just one or two carry out orders. We think we have a great variety of businesses and services.”

The Knight Cards sell for $10.00 each, and will be available through any SFS student or through the school office. The discounts are good until October 31, 2008. The money raised by the Knight Card campaign is used to support school programs.
