Cleveland Public Library announces its guests for the 2007-08 Writers and Readers series. All appearances will take place at the Main Library, Louis Stokes Wing Auditorium, E. 6th Street and Superior Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on the following Sundays. The events are FREE and open to the public. • Sunday, September 30 – Marie Arana: Book editor of The Washington Post and author of American Chica, Arana was born in Peru and taught to be a proper lady, but also learned as a child how to snap a chicken’s neck for dinner. This event will commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month.
