Latino/a businesses highlighted in USHCC’s annual convention in Puerto Rico
A large gathering of business owners, members, and supporters of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be attending the USHCC’s 2007 Annual Convention, Business Expo & International Pavilion, on September 19 - 22, 2007, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Over four days, the USHCC will host a variety of workshops, chamber training, and business sessions, focusing on building business relationships and creating opportunities for participants from all industries and from every corner of the world.

According to the USHCC’s website, “business leaders, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and chamber members can take advantage of unique opportunities to network, exchange ideas for better business strategies, and participate in business matchmaking sessions with supplier-diversity procurement officers from corporate America and the federal government.”
According to the USHCC’s website, “experts from around the country will share their best practices on creating wealth, maximizing new technologies, accessing procurement opportunities, and securing and sustaining long-term business growth.
USHCC’s convention highlights include:
§ Meet representatives from Corporate America, leading U.S. Latino owned businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as leading companies from Central America and the Caribbean.
§ The free, two-day Business Expo from September 21 – 22, 2007, features nearly 200 exhibitors, including an International Pavilion and the USHCC Foundation’s Small Business & Workforce Development Pavilion.
§ The Convention culminates with a special Awards Ceremony to celebrate and recognize the achievements of local and statewide Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, extraordinary Latina and Latino business leaders and entrepreneurs, and government advocates on behalf of the Hispanic business community.
