Homework Helpers needed

Are you a retired teacher, hoping to re-enter the job market or just want to help youth succeed in education?  You can become a Homework Helper for the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.  Paid openings are available at the following locations: Locke Branch Library, 703 Miami St., and at South Branch Library, 1736 Broadway.

The Library is seeking adult Homework Helpers to work two hours a day for two or three days a week (except on Fridays). Helpers work with early elementary school-age children through sixth grade.  Helpers are paid $11 per hour and will work with youth during after-school hours from 3:30-5:30 p.m. or from 4-6 p.m. Homework Helpers do not provide one-on-one tutoring or help during school vacation or school closings.

Send résumé to Youth Services Manager Marilyn Zielinski via email at [email protected] or by mail at 325 Michigan Street, Toledo, OH  43604.

For more details, please call 419.259.5388.
