Kentwood, August 19, 2007: The Michigan Democrat Party Hispanic/Latino Caucus (MDPHLC) has elected Larry C. Arreguin to lead the MDPHLC for the next two years. 

“I am honored to have this opportunity to lead the MDPHLC at such a critical point in our history.  We have an incredible team from across the State that is committed to sharing the values of the Democratic Party with Michigan’s Hispanic Community,” stated Arreguin.

In addition to Arreguin, María Enriquez (Vice Chair), Jonathon Solís (Secretary), and Lily Cavanagh (Treasurer) make up the new officers for the Caucus.  Upcoming plans for the MDPHLC include meeting with Latino leaders and elected officials in Lansing, Flint, Grand Rapids, and Detroit.
