Lourdes College Chorus recruiting members to celebrate its 50^th anniversary

Singers of all ages from the Metro-Toledo community are encouraged to come and sing for Lourdes College, located in Sylvania, Ohio, in celebration of the college’s 50th anniversary. 

Rehearsals are every Wednesday beginning August 29, 2007, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and are held in the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center of Lourdes College. 

The Lourdes College Chorus, which is a public singing group, performs a wide variety of choral music, from the current to the classics. The 40-voice Chorus has sung in England, Hungary, and Canada, and welcomes singers at all levels of choral experience. The Lourdes Chorus is especially seeking altos, tenors, and baritones, but all voice types are needed.

Choral highlights include a concert with the Air National Guard Band on September 16, 2007, a Fall Music Showcase with the BGSU Collegiate Chorale on October 14, and The Toledo Symphony Orchestra Neighborhood Concert on November 28, 2007.
