Mario Campos announces candidacy for  the District 2 race

On June 21, 2007, Mario Campos, son of recently departed Latina activist Sue Campos, announced his candidacy for the District 2 race in front of his residence at 3717 Beechway Blvd. As of Monday June 18, eight individuals had pulled petitions for this District 2 City Council race. Of those eight, two have already filled their petitions, which are due July 13. Campos is a U.S. Army veteran and currently works for Lowes.
