Toledo City Council candidate Ed Cichy, standing along side Toledo City Councilman Joe McNamara, announced on June 4th, 2007, at the Law Office of McNamara and Schaller, that he is making the 2007 Toledo City budget available on his Website, www.EdForCouncil.com.

In a press release, Cichy stated: “Taxpayers have a right to know how their money is being spent. Putting documents online is a simple and inexpensive way to promote greater transparency.”

Councilman McNamara announced that he is seeking to amend the city’s charter to require the city to post the budget at the city’s Website.
