Yoga on the Roof? Why Not!

What better place to practice yoga and become harmonious with mind, body and spirit than atop the Civic Plaza at Main Library, 325 Michigan Street in downtown Toledo. We can’t think of a more beautiful place than Main Library’s Civic Plaza for “Yoga on the Roof!”

Yoga loosely means “union” in Sanskirt, the language of ancient India.

Scheduled free yoga sessions (registration required):

• Wednesday, June 13, 2007/ 12:15-1:15 p.m. Instructor: April Reinhart Harrison (mats provided)
• Friday, July 13/ 9:15-10:15 a.m. Instructor: Jenn McCullough (bring mat or blanket)
• Monday, August 13/ 7:15-8:15 p.m. Instructor: Patricia Carroll (bring mat or blanket)

The Civic Plaza features walkways and benches and is a spacious park-like setting.  The outdoor area is approximately 240 feet by 400 feet and includes one-half acre of grass.
