Notre Dame Academy seniors Amanda Baker (Toledo)-$1000; Michelle Carey (Lambertville, MI)-$1,500; and Lindsay DeSautels (Toledo)-$500 were the recipients of The Patricia A. Baibak Teen Volunteer Scholarship—a $2000.00 scholarship from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary. 

The scholarship was developed in 1980 by the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary to recognize students for their outstanding volunteerism with the Teen Volunteer Program.

The scholarship goes towards college tuition for undergraduate course requirements. It is a nonrenewable scholarship. It was presented to the young women at a luncheon at Sylvania Country Club. Mrs. Kim Grilliot, NDA Principal, Sr. Mary Ann Culpert, and the parents of the young ladies were in attendance.
