UM admissions director to discuss diversity at UT law scholarship banquet

 

Theodore L. Spencer, associate vice provost, executive director of admissions, and executive vice president of academic affairs at the University of Michigan, will be the speaker for the 2007 Torrence R. Greene Scholarship Banquet, Thursday, March 22.

 

Spencer will discuss diversity in the aftermath of Michigan’s Proposition 2” at Libbey Hall on the main campus of the University of Toledo. The banquet will begin at 6:00 p.m.

 

All proceeds go to the Torrence R. Greene Scholarship Fund. Named after an African-American UT law student who was killed while still in law school, the Torrence R. Greene Lecture Series is dedicated to highlighting issues relating to race, diversity, and justice.
