Mud Hens’ Joe Napoli to be commencement speaker for Lourdes College

Lourdes College has announced that the speaker for the College’s Commencement Ceremony in May will be Joe Napoli, General Manager of the Toledo Mud Hens.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Napoli became general manager of the Mud Hens in 2001. Prior to coming to Toledo, he had also served as Assistant Director of Marketing and Ticket Sales for the Detroit Tigers; Director of Sales and Promotions for the Canton Akron Indians; and Manager of Corporate Sales and Promotions for the Chicago Bulls.  He is a graduate of St. John’s University in New York, earning a Bachelor of Science in Management.  Joe and his wife Annette, a native Toledoan, have four children.

Lourdes’ 49^th Commencement Ceremony will take place Saturday, May 19, 2007, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., in Toledo.
