According to 2006 reports by the U.S. Department of Education and its Advisory Committee the financial aid process for students applying for college financial aid assistance is more complex than ever before. 

On February 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. the Ohio Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA) will host an event called College Goal Sunday (CGS). The free event assists students and parents with completing the FAFSA. The FAFSA is the federal application that is required to receive federal financial aid including the Federal Pell Grant and student loans. 

In Northwest Ohio the event will be held at B.G.S.U. Firelands Cedar Point Center, Lima Senior High School, Owens Community College Toledo Campus, Owens Community College Findlay Campus, Terra Community College, and Wright State University Lake Campus.
