LCCC hosting 130 colleges and academies for 19th annual college fair, Oct. 5
Lorain County Community College (LCCC) hosts the 19th annual Lorain County
College Fair from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5. Representatives from more than 130 colleges, universities, and military schools gather in the Ewing Activities Center on LCCC’s campus to provide prospective college students with information on their schools.
The College Fair is an opportunity for potential students and parents to gather information on schools and speak with university representatives about admission requirements, academic standards, and financial aid. Students will have the option of attending panel discussions as well as question and answer sessions with admission and financial aid representatives from two year, four year, public and private colleges and universities.
Questions about admissions and financial aid will be answered in two sessions, at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the LCCC gym, which is adjacent to the Ewing Activities Center. The Cleveland Scholarship Program will facilitate the admissions and financial aid workshops.
Colleges and universities from Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky,
Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and West Virginia will be represented at the fair.
Representatives from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, West Point, and Kingspoint Merchant Marine Academy will be in attendance.
Admission to the College Fair is free. For more information on the 2006 Lorain County College Fair, call the LCCC marketing office at 1-800-995-5222 (extension 4012).
