Latino Career Day at Lourdes is awesome

On Oct. 4, 2006, the Toledo Public Schools and Lourdes College hosted their annual Latino Career Day at the college with speakers such as: Al Flores, Ana Ponce, Rosie Dunlap, Charlie Soto, Mary Morales, Emilio Ramirez, Alexis De Anda, Roman Arce, Anita López, Johnny Carrillo, Chico Castellanos, Lou Vásquez, Chris Bruning, Connie Collins, to name a few.

According to TPS’s José Luna, there were 11 career paths to choose from, by high school students from Bowsher, Libbey, Waite, Whitmer, Woodward, and Springfield, including: Business, Communications, Education, Tech, Law, Medical, Public Service, Skilled Trades, Social Work, Theater, and College Info.
