Kaptur announces federal support for Aurora González Community Center

Last week, U.S. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-Dist-9) announced the award of a $99,410 planning and construction grant to the South End Community Center, Aurora González Community and Family Resource Center, Toledo.

The Center has served the area for ten years and is directed by Michele Toth, FSM.

“As the historic South End gathers energy for the revitalization of the commercial business district and its housing stock, our attention should not be diverted from supporting the aspirations of our children and families,” said the congresswoman.
