Adelante Youth serve needy for Thanksgiving
On Wednesday November 23, 2006 youth enrolled in Adelante’s Youth Enrichment Program served meals to homeless and needy area Toledoans at the Cherry St Mission.

According to Adelante coordinator, Andreanna Rivera, the youth helped serve food donations to area men during the dinner hours on Thanksgiving Eve. Many of the boys were touched by the experience and enjoyed learning about the services the Cherry St Mission provides. |

Josh Ramos, a15-year old student at Toledo School of Performing Arts and a talented pianist played for needy families while they enjoyed their holiday meal.
Teens enrolled in Adelante Programs are required to complete community service each month as part of giving back to the community.
