CenturyTel Simple Choice Unlimited now includes extended local calls

CenturyTel of Ohio announces that effective immediately the CenturyTel Simple Choice Unlimited calling plan now includes ELCS (extended local calling service). All CenturyTel ELCS calls will be included at no additional cost in the new CenturyTel Unlimited calling plan.

Current Simple Choice Unlimited customers do not have to do anything. CenturyTel will automatically include ELCS calls in their CenturyTel Simple Choice Unlimited calling plan at no additional cost. Residential customers interested in signing up for CenturyTel Simple Choice Unlimited should call the Customer Contact Center at 1.800.201.4099.

Customers interested in reviewing the ELCS (Extended Local Calling Service) chart should refer to Page 14 of the CenturyTel November 2006 directory. The chart identifies which calls are local area calls and which calls are ELCS calls.
