Latina Update: Kelly Rivera Nye

Kelly Rivera Nye, cofounder of El Tiempo newspaper and former layout artist for La Prensa and Mi Tierra newspapers, has not been idle these past few years.

Rivera, who recently married and gave birth to her son Dylan, has been the Special Projects Manager for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority since 1993.

Rivera Nye is also the Port Authority’s Project Manager of the forthcoming 3 million dollar Marine Passenger Terminal—Toledo’s first full-service cruise and ferry terminal planned for the Marina District.   More on this project will be published in next week’s La Prensa.

 
“I love my job with the Port Authority. My major at the University of Toledo was Marketing with specialization in advertising and promotions,” said Rivera Nye.
