Clowning around at the library

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is giving patrons a chance to ‘clown around’ this month at different Library locations.

“Clowning Around at the Library” presents professional clown Bozo Crunch from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.  Patrons will get a chance to meet Bozo Crunch and learn what it takes to become a clown, plus more about the circus, as he shares his favorite stories.

“Clowning Around at the Library” is a free event and is open to all ages.  The program is scheduled at the following locations:

          Oregon Branch, 7 p.m. Monday, August 21.

Toledo Heights Branch, 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 22.

West Toledo Branch, 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 22.

          Children’s Library at Main Library, 11 a.m.

Wednesday, August 23.

Along with “Clowning Around at the Library,” the Library is presenting a circus trivia contest, August 21 through September 22. Patrons will have to use their best research skills to answer circus questions. They will get a chance to enter to win a family four-pack of tickets to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
