Caucus seeking nominations for outstanding leaders

Lansing: The Michigan Hispanic Caucus is seeking nominations for outstanding Latino leaders in Michigan, according to Senator Valde García and Representatives John Espinoza and Lee Gonzáles.

The categories are: Fine Arts, Business/Economic Development, Advocate, Educator, Lifetime Achievement, and Youth Leadership. There is a college scholarship for the recipient in the latter category.

Winners will be recognized at the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, hosted at the State Capitol on October 12 at 11:45AM, with a banquet at 5:30PM at the Holiday Inn South in Lansing.
