This year’s Estrella “Our Shining Star” award for an outstanding member of the local Latino community will be granted in a different manner. Due to a lack of reservations, the Estrella award dinner has been cancelled.

But the 2005 recipient of the Estrella award will be recognized at an event at the college on Nov. 17. That event will also recognize distinguished alumni, scholarship winners and donors to the Terra College Foundation.
