Hispanic/Latino Strategic Alliance of Greater Toledo announces Community Dialogue Series
A core group of agencies and community representatives, collectively known as the Hispanic/Latino Strategic Alliance of Greater Toledo (HLSAT), is announcing a series of community focus forums that are designed to engage the Latino community, as well as those who interact with it, in an exchange of ideas. These community discussions are part of a larger process, which will prioritize conversations with those most impacted by HLSAT’s work. These community focus forums will be designed to gather input on what today’s most pressing concerns are for the local Latino community and what the ‘front burner’ agenda items should be in moving the Toledo area’s Latino community forward in the new millennium.
These focus forums will be conducted with the assistance of the Medev consulting group, which has been retained by HLSAT to assist them in the strategic planning process. There will be several focus forums conducted the week of October 24 – 28, 2005 at various locations throughout the area. The forums are open to the public. Please review the schedule and join HLSAT in improving and empowering nuestra communidad.
